So fresh and easy: this sandwich, made in the Italian style, is perfect for a summer’s day.
Take slices of sourdough bread, sprinkle with olive oil and oregano and a touch of salt and pepper. Top with peppered turkey, swiss cheese, romaine lettuce and slices of sweet cherry pepper. Enjoy with your favorite book and a frosty mug of root beer.
Lounge forever in the garden. How good can it get?!
I would love to lounge forever in YOUR garden next to your woodfire oven Don with a glass of wine, some appies and the company of Kathy and yourself.
That is one yummy sounding sandwich! Will you come here and make it for me? 😛
Nothing beats a sandwich in the summer when it looks like that. I am loving all of those layers!
That’s sounds great right now for a late night snack…now just grill it!
Yummy this looks so delicious! 🙂
Yep, you’re right. Summer’s best sandwich. Of course you could serve an old shoe in fresh homemade sourdough bread and I’d still call it the best. Sourdough is kind of amazing that way. Compliments on the image!
